  1. The picture is called Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. It was painted in June 1889 and depicts the view outside of his sanitarium room window in Saint-Remy-de-Provence at night. It was also the inspiration for the song " Starry Starry Night " by Don McLean. The colours are blues, yellows, blacks and browns. There are houses and a church. There are lots of stars and swirling clouds in the sky and a bright glowing moon. It is very beautiful.

  2. Jessica - I can see the world. The sun and little stars are in the sky. I can see lots of houses and a big tree.
It's going all swirly whirly because there are waves in the sky.

  4. Thomas - I can see the stars and the moon and a city with a big tower, the tower is all pointy. The hand is making the picture move.

  5. The painting is called night time lanterns because there are sometimes lanterns in the sky at night. An artist painted. I can see a black castle, bright lanterns, houses with candles to keep them warm. The swirly things are shooting stars that are 100 miles away.
